About the Journal

Introduction

Biological and Clinical Sciences Research Journal (Biol. Clin. Sci. Res. J.) is a peer-reviewed journal published by MEDEYE Publishers. With eISSN 2708-2261 and pISSN 2958-4728, the journal is committed to publishing original, high-quality scholarly work that contributes significantly to the advancement of biological, clinical, and interdisciplinary sciences. Submitted manuscripts must be original, not under consideration elsewhere, and should demonstrate clear scientific value by enhancing current knowledge, addressing important research gaps, or refining established concepts.

Vision

The journal aspires to be a credible, accessible, and impactful platform for researchers, clinicians, and scientists from diverse disciplines. Through the integration of biological and clinical sciences, it promotes interdisciplinary research and encourages innovative responses to complex scientific and healthcare issues.

Aims

The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge by publishing rigorous and meaningful research, encouraging interdisciplinary inquiry, and supporting studies with clinical, biological, and broader scientific relevance. It seeks to bridge gaps between research and practice while serving the academic and professional needs of the scientific community.

Scope

The journal primarily focuses on medical and clinical sciences, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, neurology, oncology, radiology, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, critical care, public health, epidemiology, and healthcare systems research. It also welcomes translational and applied biomedical research with direct clinical relevance, including biological dimensions that support advances in healthcare and science.

Publication Format

The journal follows a monthly publication schedule, with one issue published each month and twelve issues forming a single annual volume, effective from January 2025. Articles are arranged by category within each issue, and page numbering corresponds to the order of publication within that issue rather than continuing across the full volume. Effective from November 2025, each issue includes a minimum of five and a maximum of thirty articles.

The journal welcomes a broad range of scholarly contributions, including original research articles, short research articles, short communications, review articles, mini-reviews, systematic reviews, policy papers, commentaries, opinion articles, data notes, study protocols, pre-protocols, method articles, data articles, case reports, case studies, clinical practice articles, grey literature, government reports, abstracts of scientific meetings, letters to the editor, scholarly book reviews, technical notes, perspectives, correspondence, and news and views. Each submission is published under its appropriate article category to ensure clarity, accessibility, and relevance for readers.
